Within reasonable limits of personal knowledge and experience, Members must ensure they understand the risks and have the appropriate knowledge and skill for a Club activity and the prevailing conditions. Members are also responsible for the suitability and condition of their personal equipment. Notwithstanding negligence, neither the club nor its office bearers can or will accept any liability for any loss or injury during club activities.

Medical Information

Paddlesports can be strenuous activities, often in remote locations and inclement weather conditions. It is important we understand and accommodate known medical conditions (temporary or permanent) or additional needs that might affect your performance, safety, or communication. In particular, this includes Asthma, Epilepsy, Diabetes, Visual or Hearing Impairment or Anxieties.

It is your responsibility to ensure club coaches, expedition leaders, and event organisers are fully aware of any condition that could affect your safety or the completion of a planned activity. If you carry medication (e.g. Inhaler, EpiPen, Glucose) ensure others know where it is carried and how to assist you in an emergency.
